The lodge had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, with beautiful decor that reminded me of my grandmother's house. The general areas were well-maintained and provided comfortable seating for senior people like myself. Additionally, I appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with handrails in the bathrooms and ramps for easy navigation.

I would have loved to have more assistance from the staff. As a senior woman, it would have been helpful to have someone available to help carry my luggage or provide additional support when needed.

The lodge had everything we needed for a perfect Christmas getaway. The location was ideal for a peaceful and quiet stay, away from the hustle and bustle. The views of the estuary were stunning, and we enjoyed watching the birds and wildlife from the comfort of the lodge. Plus, the owners were extremely welcoming and left us wine, milk, and cake as a lovely gesture.

Honestly, we couldn't find anything to dislike about our stay. We wished we had more time to enjoy the lodge and its surroundings.
